The ‘Accuvant Certified Environment’ distinction affirms that environment(s) targeted have undergone a rigorous, recurring testing cycle protecting organizations’ data assets from being accessible to unauthorized users. Customers can be assured that organizations that have adhered to the requirements of the Assurance Program have implemented a thorough security program, robust security controls, and hold the protection of their client’s data as a priority in their environment.

To become an ‘Accuvant Certified Environment’ a series of security assessments are conducted that cover critical security domains including people, process, and technology. Tests are carried out by Accuvant’s assessors using proven methodologies that identify vulnerabilities, validate findings and provide strategies for mitigation. Once additional measures have been implemented to address any identified risks, the environment(s) are then retested to ensure all potential perils were resolved. Once the environment has mitigated any undue risk and is in compliance with the standards set forth in the Accuvant program, the organization receives Accuvant certification for the environment targeted (whether enterprise, external or application) that is valid through the duration of the program (generally annual) provided the environment retains the same level of security in place, which is validated on a quarterly basis.
