Mike Raggo researched the ubiquity of mobile computing and the plethora of vulnerabilities introduced by devices such as iPads, mobile POS devices, and wireless handhelds and explored recent attacks focused on exposing cardholder data, enumerating network credentials, and obtaining end-user data. This presentation includes how Mike used rooting on his palm pre and used it as a malicious hotspot, using Windows 7 virtual wifi to allow insecure access to the network, and using open source tools for WiFi and Bluetooth incident response and forensics.
